Little Vikings Early Childhood

Mission Statement
PPS Early Learning and Care is dedicated to providing a nurturing, inclusive and caring environment aligned with the education mission of Potterville Public Schools, where children and families learn to grow together as a community.
Program Philosophy
Our belief is that children are unique and learn through a variety of ways such as directly interacting with the environment and that their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth occurs in developmental stages that are sequential and continuous.
Program Goals:
Provide a safe, stimulating atmosphere with opportunities for growth and development in physical, emotional and intellectual areas.
Encourage self-esteem and positive self-concept through the use of Capturing Kids' Hearts and Conscious Discipline.
Assist children in facing and solving problems as they arise.
Families will be provided with a variety of home learning extensions related to learning and activities occurring in the classroom.
Enrollment:
Every family must complete the registration process before attending. The admission process consists of:
Parents complete the pre-registration application.
Meeting with the Director and/or a representative and tour the facility. This includes a discussion of program options that best meet the child's educational needs.
Completion of all registration forms. Prior to the child's first day, we must have a copy of your child's immunizations and the paperwork from the enrollment packet which includes emergency information and immunizations.
Payment of the $50 non-refundable registration fee.
Section and placement will be based on a variety of factors with children being placed in the most appropriate classroom. When a spot becomes available, children will first be selected based on age and match to the classroom. A waiting list will be established as needed.
Enrollment priority will be as follows:
